Ludeon buffed power armor’s cold protection in 1.6. Maybe you should do the same with Siegebreaker Armor? And also, finally fix its duplicate layers while you’re at it?

@coolicetee well if it was reduced by that much then I suppose it should be balanced the same, likely reducing it to -0.8 c/s or -0.9 c/s. I realized that it's not balanced if your own competitor armor can run twice as fast as you.

Pawns can´t wear marine boots and gloces with bionics in the force wear gizmo comes the messge missing body part.

@IDK_just_a_headless_reaper cataphract armor went from -0.8 c/s to -0.5 c/s meaning the siege breaker armor's -1.1 c/s is more then twice the slowdown of the heavy base game power armor. At the end anyone can set it to whatever they want in their files. Im just advocating to look into it since through that buff base game armor has been rebalanced

for some reason marine gloves, boots from here and from apparel expanded are set to "none" layer which makes pawns wear all the boots and gloves they can get their hands on, is this a known issue related to some mod?

Siegebreaker armour does now have correct vacuum resistance, as does the Prestige Siegebreaker armour, but the Prestige Siegebreaker HELMET does not.

Also, whilst it's obviously the trooper armour has noticeably reduced vac resistance compared to other "powered" armours, is it intentional that the prestige variant does not have any?

I think it's still balanced to have a ranged shield armor be slow as hell since it guarantees you won't be damaged at all while it is up.

Siege breaker movements speed debuff should be now lower since they buffed base game armor in 1.6 to have less movements speed debuff

Hello, You probably already know this but just thought I would mention it as well. When an enemy pawn spawns in with the Ghillie suit, I cannot select them. I can have a drafted pawn fire or attack them by right click commanding them to do so but I cant see their stats or anything until I get my pawn to strip them of the armour.

Dont know if thats a bug or intended.

Don't remenber the speed before 1.6 but it don't seem like the movement speed penality for siegebreaker didn't change to reflect Cataphract change

the missing vac resistance also applies to the prestige versions of trooper armor.

To be precise. The Siegebreaker helmet is missing +68% vacuim resistance (Cataphract helmet have that much. Siegebreaker armour have the correct +30% vacuim resistance that other space armours have

Getting some random errors now, not sure what updated and broke it, submitted an error report.
Config error in Empire_Fighter_Grenadier: required apparel can't be worn together (VAE_Footwear_PlateBoots, Apparel_PowerArmor)

For visibility, getting a bunch of those errors

hi, i think you cant make a gambeson aout of any other than cloth, i wold like to make a heavy fur gambeson and i have 65 cloth and 150 Heavy fur and its not possible.

It seems a bit absurd to add a 1000 point research project, crammed between two unrelated existing ones, in the main tab instead of the VE tab, that adds one single head apparel...

I checked, and Combat Expanded reworks power armor to cover hands and feet, making the power armor gloves and boots useless in this mod

My pawns wont wear his power armor boots and gloves with the marine armor. When I use to play, he could, but now he just takes off the marine armor if i try to make him.

@I CANT BEEF yeah, wondering that too. was looking for it in the research tree, but it's nowhere to be found. I'm playing with CE tho, so I wonder if CE wants us to use "CE: Armors - Extended Cut" for that, since it includes them too

Is it just me, or are the plate gloves/boots/helmet kind of shit? They have roughly half the protection of the vanilla plate armour, shouldn't they be basically the same?

Hi! I used to play with this mod on in 2022 while the patch was still at 1.3.

Now I came back to the game again and reverted to beta 1.3 to match my save file and I notice something.

I used to be able to make pawns wear helmets along with the goggles since they don't have the same slot, but as of now if I make pawns take off one or the other that can only put one of them back on at a time. Is there anyway to trouble shoot this?

Hello, I have a question, what is the siege breaker armor for? With the shield regeneration which is almost non-existent and the big penalties that it gives, I find it of no interest.... a basic carapath armor does the same job with a movement penalty which is really less... I am posting this message because the reality of the shield regeneration really does not work well at all, is it possible to solve this problem please? Currently in legendary version the armor has 100 shield points and regen 1 shield point every 10 seconds, thank you in advance

What does the riot shield's "protects" actually do, exactly? The line for "protects" has no description and is fitted in between "armor - sharp" and "armor - blunt," does that have meaning? Does that mean that the protection is only for sharp damage or only for blunt damage? Does it apply that full armor value or only partial?

I want to my pawn to wear a helmet with balaclava, but when the pawn is wearing the helmet he undresses the balaclava, and vice versa. Anyone can help?

It appears that the Riot armor from this mod are undesired by all traders. It is essentially a rock in the middle of my storage. Not usable because I have better stuff and un-sellable because people don't want it, this feels like a bug.

for some reason I don't know that colonists keep taking armors off 😂 after putting them on, and even when forced to wear an item they will take it off anyway

For some strange reason I can't put them on a colonist with 2 bionic feet... is this normal? It tells me "missing body parts";w;
It hurts not to have that extra defense.
