It's certainly different and fun to drive :steamhappy:
Legdig 20 Aug, 2016 @ 4:35pm
I hope its not too much to ask, but could we get a version of this for quickdrives please?

There are little olive-coloured triangles at the edge of the water which allows you to expand the water, but it can only be expanded to a certain size (goodness knows why). For a large area you'll need several of the water assets.

Hey Miles,
To flood, I simply used the 'Water Reflective' asset and put it over the route to cover some things in water. It's pretty simple.
If it's not appearing in scenarios or in the route builder after you've placed it, then double -click it and set the detail level to 10. The update for TS15 made all assets with low detail level go invisible in scenarios.
Hope this helps.

Ya no, if it rally was flooded like this, these trains won't even run. But Ah get it. (It's a mostly boring game to most people) Got 2 put some excitement in it.

@FelixTrain
Yes, of course you're allowed. I might need to make the route final first, but go ahead for the moment.
TheTrain 29 Sep, 2014 @ 2:29pm
Would I be allowed to use this route to make a scenario for the steam workshop?
roadierunway12  [author] 29 May, 2014 @ 8:10am
@koasterkidd,
Steam locos wouldn't be able to run either because the water may get above the fire height and put it out.
So basically no trains would be able to run in a flood...
But this route has to have trains. So 3rd Rail or whatever, I'm keeping the 377's because it looks very strange and comical.
JC_02 28 May, 2014 @ 3:59pm
looks really fun and exiting
postchadcore 17 May, 2014 @ 12:50pm
Major flaw in the route... No 3rd-Rail (or diesel locomotives, for that matter) would be even able to operate if this were a real flood. The only locomotives that would be even close to eligibility for operation would be steam locomotives. "A" for effort, "D" for rationality

Good Point
roadierunway12  [author] 12 May, 2014 @ 8:46am
@ frozenpenguin,
It would be, but the Ryde Tunnel is a problem. The water goes too high even when the water is as low as the track. Perhaps one day...
frozenpenguin 11 May, 2014 @ 2:45pm
Isle of Wight would be fun to flood because it is a island :-)
roadierunway12  [author] 16 Mar, 2014 @ 8:30am
No problem! :)
Cat1843Halo 15 Mar, 2014 @ 4:44pm

Coming Soon...
I've been to the beautiful Isle of Arran several times, and I think it's time to get 'Scotland in miniature' into the simulation world...
Invader 9 Mar, 2014 @ 7:39am
Thanks :)
roadierunway12  [author] 9 Mar, 2014 @ 7:23am
@Miles,
To flood a route, get a 'Water Reflective' asset and stretch it as far as it will go, then put it down on the desired level of land. The best results come from below the passenger and cab view heights.
Invader 9 Mar, 2014 @ 7:20am
@Mark
Ok, thanks :)
I look forward to your other routes coming soon! By the way, how do you flood a certain part of the route like you did with this?
roadierunway12  [author] 9 Mar, 2014 @ 7:19am
This is a reply to Miles,
I don't have the Riviera line but I do have the PDL and Isle of Wight. It would be fun to flood them both, so I might do it. I'm very busy at the moment (I have about 10 routes and a few scenarios going at once!), but I'll try to get round to doing them.
Invader 9 Mar, 2014 @ 6:35am
Please could you make one of these with the Riviera Line, Portsmouth Direct Line or Isle of Wight?
lange 7 Mar, 2014 @ 7:24pm
Mercifully short and quite ridiculous.

Coming to your Workshop screens March 11...
A new route inspired by Thameslink...

Oh my goodness...!

I don't have the Londen-Brighton route, but I like the idea of this workshop item. Nice and original!

Thanks for the positive feedback!

This is fun to drive on!
roadierunway12  [author] 21 Feb, 2014 @ 2:12pm
This is a reply to georgebowman98,
It's actually very easy. I simply get a 'Decal Water Reflective' asset and stretch it as far as it will go, then I put it down onto the desired level on the land. The best results come from below the passenger and cab view camera heights. It is very fun to watch the water come 'flooding' in. In this route, Clapham Junction and London Victoria are flooded!
Hope this answers your question
Lord Rev Bowman-Charlton 21 Feb, 2014 @ 10:41am
How do you flood the route?
roadierunway12  [author] 21 Feb, 2014 @ 7:51am
This is a reply to driverlewis,
This is a work in progress, I will eventually reach Brighton and the south. I just thought that the Thames would be a fun place to start!
ḓя☤♥℮ґłεωї﹩ 21 Feb, 2014 @ 7:19am
would be realistic if it was down south
That Guy Who Only Likes Trains 20 Feb, 2014 @ 5:22pm
lol, I bet he's going to get fined for $200,000,000,000.01 for it!

@marksanderson.

thanks for the reply. it does answer my question. i didnt know that we can make routes
roadierunway12  [author] 20 Feb, 2014 @ 12:28am
Don't worry, I'll try to use only London Faversham assets.
That Guy Who Only Likes Trains 19 Feb, 2014 @ 9:56pm
And only content for London Faversham!
That Guy Who Only Likes Trains 19 Feb, 2014 @ 5:04pm
Thanks, @marksanderson1960, can't wait to see a Flooded London! Just make sure you use only the water availible from London Faversham!
roadierunway12  [author] 19 Feb, 2014 @ 10:12am
Now under construction: London to Faversham: Flooded! As of request of Driver#2412, I am creating a flooded version of London Faversham. Also included will be a scenery extension including scenery for Camden Road Overground station. Hope you like the sound of this!
roadierunway12  [author] 19 Feb, 2014 @ 9:20am
This is a reply to mythreeherberts,
This isn't a scenario, it's a route. Unfortunately I don't know how to create standard and career scenarios, but with this route is included Quick Drive from East Croydon to Victoria and vice versa, and a free roam from Clapham Junction.
Hope this answers your question!
Samuel Iles 19 Feb, 2014 @ 2:43am
is this scenario a standerd or a carrer mode scenario?
roadierunway12  [author] 19 Feb, 2014 @ 12:23am
I could try! :)
That Guy Who Only Likes Trains 18 Feb, 2014 @ 10:12pm
This looks cool, but I do not have DLC for it. Can you make a flooded London to Faversham High Speed?
roadierunway12  [author] 17 Feb, 2014 @ 2:13pm
London to Brighton: Flooded! The first version makes the land from just before Clapham Junction to London Victoria flooded! Take your train and go straight through the water! When you go from Clapham Junction to Victoria on one branch at the large junction, your train goes underwater! Have fun, I'll flood more of this route in the weeks to come!
