@brans.mags92 The load order for just my mods does not matter. But if asking about mixing with other moder's mods, I'd suggest putting this one earlier (though if any files conflict, I cannot guarantee it will function properly)

It's using icon_travel which for some reason was removed? There's a travel_mixed icon in the base game now...maybe that one would work?

Yes, I found the culprit it was Additional Lifestyles, a mod that seems to have gone off the workshop for some reason

I'm having an issue now since last update that I can't see the "visit foreign realm"' interaction anymore. Even putting this mod all the way to the bottom of the modlist

@cuomo860 Fixed it and a couple other schemes whose target is a title instead of a character (note I removed the despot scheme file as distance to title doesn't make sense for it either)

This error was reported to me on the Super Compatch comments. It looks like the ep3 scheme are looking at landed titles and not characters as scopes.

@socialcat98 I don't know. If I had to guess they are probably slightly incompatible (i.e. some stuff will not work, but it won't be game breaking). If you want to give it a try I'd recommend having this mod higher in the load order

@Arvi Both you and the recipient have to be a landed (count or above) and they cannot be in the same realm as you. Otherwise you cannot have travelled to a far off realm in the last 5 years (I'll move this to be one it warns you about). The rest, like not at war, the interaction should show the warning for

I am so confused. what exactly triggers the travel to distant realm option? I only see it sometimes.
not sure if I have a mod conflict. don't see any file conflicts but the travel options to close and distant realm seems super random. only reliable seems to be the papal state and byzantium.

@Jet The values depend on the distance and the scheme or whether the marriage involves an alliance or not. You can see the acceptance penalty for marriage if you click around the map (there is no other affect on marriage as the AI for offering marriages is not open to modders). It is not very big. You can see the scheme penalty for success if you click around the map (note schemes the more directly involve the player character have a higher penalty). The AI have a reduced chance of initiating a scheme on more distant characters with the amount depending on the malus due to distance (so as romance schemes have a higher penalty due to distance than murder schemes, this mod more heavily disincentives the AI from far off romances than it does far off murders). Note every doubling of distance doubles the penalty, just different interactions have different starting points for when the penalty first kicks in.

@Hecleas I still do not know what is happening in these other mods (especially as that link has 10 mods in it). Even when looking for a compatibility problem with one mod I need a good sense of where the problem might be to find it as I do not know how other mods are set up and so need to know where to look. But I have only a guess (and that guess does not even involve my mod) so I unfortunately cannot help you with the information I have.

What I do in your situation, is remove one mod at a time to see which is the problem (you can start with the mod you think is the problem). Though since it takes years for this error to happen this will be a long process as you have to play each combination of mods long enough to be sure the problem would happen if present. Doing this I can find the mod that is the problem (if there is a compatibility problem, there should be two or more mods that when removed the problem goes away)

I just saw that in the comment section of this mod that I am using, it crashes sometimes when launching, but when I try again it works and after that there are no problems

But I said to myself, maybe that's what's causing this problem

I also saw that the "Unofficial Patch" mod uses this "travel_completion_events" table

@Hecleas I don't know then. If you can share a save that consistently crashes I might be able to figure it out. But I cannot really say as I've never seen this error, I don't know what your other mods are doing, or what is happening in your game. It's near impossible to fix a bug without knowing what is causing it and this error message by itself does not indicate what line of code is the problem

Also note, if my theory is correct, it does not need a new province added to cause this problem. A mod that adjusts the map or even removes provinces could potentially cause this problem

When I had these crashes I had no more province.
But sometimes when I start the game, I'll have 1 or 2 crashes, I start again and then I don't have any crashes.
The game can work for several years and randomly it can crash with a “travel” problem.

I have 2 other travels mods (regional travel events and travel the distance)

@Hecleas I've never seen that error, even when debugging new features for this mod. So I doubt it is coming from this mod (though possible this mod exposes an impossible route in another mod by enabling more instances of travel).

If I had to hazard a guess, it is a mod that changes the map and has made a province that is unreachable. Could be it adds a province surround by impassible terrain or maybe it does not properly mark an island as an island.

I have a suggestion, when travelling to far off realms, you usually encounter some characters in travel events, logically one should have the ability to interact with them when his location is very close to their during the travel event, but in the game we; due to being so far off the diplomatic range
