Morven's Mods Compatch
Your banner that has been passed down through three generations of direct player heirs is rightfully mine! Give me it back or die!"
As always, well done!
Updated for v1.8.*. Various small inclusions of vanilla changes.
Thanks for the mod
The issue should be fixed now.
If a character possesses both a house and personal claim and loses a duel, the challenge is considered to have been made in the right of the personal claim, only the personal claim will be lost, and the house claim will be retained. When a character challenges with a house claim and does not possess a personal claim, then the challenge is considered to be made in the right of the house claim on behalf of the house, the loser will lose the house claim.
The same rules apply to a losing defender. If he possess a personal claim then only the personal claim will be lost and the house's claim, if it exists, will be retained. If the losing defender does not posses a personal claim, only a house claim, then the loss results in the loss of the house claim.
Updated for Fate of Iberia v1.6. New mechanism to strip house claims from failed duel challengers added in, will prevent house claimants cycle challenging. Thanks to =Sarsante= for bringing the issue to my attention.
German loc update thanks to DarkMatter.
But if you agree on a compromise I can go with that.
I don't mind going with Dillo's suggestion, it wasn't my intention to compete like that in the first place.
@menmaatre
It shouldn't matter. I'm not aware of any conflicts, and if there were you'd likely have to choose between mods (or write your own compatibility patch combining the two) rather than try to do load order tricks that would overwrite eachothers mods, but a moot point as I don't know of any need.
The third line: here my „gut“ makes more sense than „schön“ because „schön“ means only „beautiful“ in German, and here it’s irrelevant if the artifact is beautiful or not
Dillo's translation on the other hand reads something like "you gave it away for 30 years, come back later" - simplified. While I can see where he's coming from, I feel like that is not what the message is supposed to say.
Correct me if I'm wrong, please. ^^
