So you want me to remove Chinese localization from the mod and instead add a link to your mod in this mod's workshop page?
No, the mod's remit is to track your character's bastards, which is not an issue for mothers.
There are other mods which can show the real fathers of children, such as Ultimate Tooltip Framework , which although hasn't been updated recently still works.
The first update on the 5th March used an incorrect window name, but the second update fixed that, so the mod should be working for you now, if not then unsubscribe and resubscribe to it because steam can be temperamental at times with updates.
Had the same issue, only error I could find
[19:44:40][pdx_gui.h:86]: Could not find widget 'woxxx_window' in file 'gui/custom_windows/woxxx_window.gui'
Sorry I couldn't answer earlier, steam has been throwing a hissy fit all day.
Firstly, I can't think of any reason why WO won't work for you, it's very odd.
1) Start a fresh game with only Wild Oats in your playset to see if the mod works by itself
2) If it doesn't work then go to step (4)
3) Load a game with your normal playset where WO doesn't work.
4) Search your ck3 debug log for references to WOXXX and post them in a new discussion on this workshop page
5) Search your ck3 error log for references to WOXXX and post some of them in the same discussion you started in (4)
6) Post a list of all the other mods you use in the discussion you started in (4)
Hopefully I'll be able to work out what's going wrong for you, but I do expect the game you start in (1) to work with WO.
I have just done another test with a fresh game and can confirm the mod is working.
When you say it's not showing up do you mean the open register option or the create register option?
You should see one of the options n a male character's friendly menu.
BUT remember only male characters can use the register.
Have you checked that the mod is in your playset?
Specs aren't too difficult though pdox like to not reveal info so we have to hunt for it lol
All images are dds in ck3, and icons are a square which I guess helps with dynamic scaling.
There are a lot of mods looking for graphic artists so you could jump on the co-op discord and offer your services if you want to get involved in something.
I'm sure I will have fun in Lance if I ever get the chance to play it
have fun with lance!
When you make icons it's best to make a square, no matter the size you make it, because it has to be scaled down to 120x120, so anything rectangular gets skewed when scaled.
That said it looks good but due to the colour it really stands out compared to CK3 themed icons.
I toyed with the idea of making a T800 cpu icon when I first did the mod but due to it's colour it washes into the background of the gui frame too easily. Which is why I like the icon I made, it's bright and embodies the nature of the mod, i.e. wild oats, and one day I have promised myself to round it off to blend more like a badge than a picture on the sideboard, but I barely have time to play as it is so it keeps getting pushed.
As yet I have not played even 10 minutes of lance because of problems updating my mods.
I'm not sure if this works
The mod has an icon?
ahh, you should have looked at the last update timestamp at the top of the page. But yeah I usually keep on top of updates, and typically mods like this one that don't touch vanilla files are the first I update as they usually don't require any work between updates.
I try to ensure all my mods, where possible, don't touch vanilla files for that reason.
What update?
WO has updated to 1.8.1 last December if that's what you mean.
But in all seriousness, cheers
I do have plans to sort a trait icon for the mod but it keeps getting pushed to the back burner due to game updates requiring a lot of my time being spent on mod updates, and then I like to play myself every now and again, but it's on my list and I'm near the end of the updates for the lastest game update now.
But I'd prefer it if you provided the Korean translation files to me so I can include them in my mods rather than you forking them. I would ofc cite you as the provider of the translations.
It makes it easier to keep track and fix with just one version of the code.
