Right. Thanks! :)

Not sure, it's going to be a few days before I can get around to updating my mods.

However some of them probably won't need any changes apart from supported version number so give it a try in a fresh campaign with only this mod in the playset to see if it works, also check your error log.

Does this mod need to be updated for the latest DLC?
Lost Nomad  [author] 31 Dec, 2024 @ 8:13am
@D&R
What update do you think it needs?
Lost Nomad  [author] 25 Sep, 2024 @ 2:04am
@luis3007
I have no idea if they fixed the bug until I get around to testing this mod, it's on a long list of mods to be updated.

But just because it has not been updated does not mean it doesn't work, the exclamation mark just means it was written for another game version, so it may still be working if that part of the game has not been changed in the update.
luis3007 24 Sep, 2024 @ 4:39pm
Has Paradox ever fixed the holy order bug? If not pls update the mod
Lost Nomad  [author] 4 Mar, 2024 @ 4:15pm
@Bruce Wayne
Legends has just dropped, so the mod will likely be updated in the next couple of days.
Bruce Wayne 4 Mar, 2024 @ 3:47pm
will this need to be updated, plox and thanks
Paathurnaax 13 Jan, 2024 @ 12:23pm
Yasssss. The holy order purge is so needed. tyty
Lost Nomad  [author] 4 Jun, 2023 @ 5:59am
@Norym
Not sure if I can do anything about that.

Vanilla uses revoke_holy_order_lease_effect to revoke a HO lease which applies 10 fervor to the hostile faith for every revoked HO lease.

But I don't use that, I just evict the HO without applying any fervor to the faith.

So I'm not sure where you're seeing the added fervor from but it's not from PCHOL.
Norym 4 Jun, 2023 @ 12:54am
hey man, can you help make revoking the lease not make +10 fervor for the faith that got revoked? when i switch religion in a big empire, the previous religion get max fervor because of the dozens of revoked leases. Thanks!
puggy 15 May, 2023 @ 10:35am
thank you for update
Lost Nomad  [author] 13 May, 2023 @ 1:30pm
@hamletsdead
hah, yeah you can run out of people fast that way, but the really infuriating thing for me is that if Cheeky Joe got his rights from King Billy the Craven, then got independence and swore to be your bff he keeps his rights from Weak Billy and can impose them on your council!!!

If before he gained independence you conquer Billy's realm because he's weak realm and so he becomes your vassal again he has rights and will use them!!!

That is one of the main reasons I wrote this mod :steamhappy:
hamletsdead 13 May, 2023 @ 1:15pm
Thanks for this, the "can't kick this *sshat off my council for 20 years" issue was super-annoying. I always ended up murdering them, but just kicking them off seems a better option.
Lost Nomad  [author] 12 May, 2023 @ 3:56pm
@Will
No idea, I have not been able to play Lance either.
will 12 May, 2023 @ 5:59am
I haven't played the new update yet. Did they fix contracts and leases?
Lost Nomad  [author] 23 Apr, 2023 @ 1:15pm
@Lord Shadow
The mod is working fine, you must have a conflict with another mod or a corrupt install.

Try doing a steam validate and check your other mods that have updated after this mod was last updated. Or perhaps you have a corrupt playset.
Lord Shadow 23 Apr, 2023 @ 11:44am
Your mod worked well and then it stopped. Now manual interaction to kick enemy holy order away is gone and automatic function doesn't work as well. Could you check if last patches have caused this problem?
Pikadex 27 Feb, 2023 @ 6:45pm
Oh, cool! Thanks!
Lost Nomad  [author] 27 Feb, 2023 @ 1:20am
@Pikadex
Player contracts should be protected when liege changes now, thanks for pointing that out to me :steamthumbsup:
Lost Nomad  [author] 26 Feb, 2023 @ 7:30pm
@Pikadex
Oh I misunderstood you, I can certainly stop it purging the player's GCR. That's an oversight on my part, I never considered the player having GCR because I've never had it when I play.
I'll put it on my TODO list, shouldn't be long before I release the fix.
Pikadex 26 Feb, 2023 @ 3:52pm
Oh, I don't like vassals having council rights, either. I was just bothered by it purging my personal contract's council rights. Worst case, I can disable this mod if I'm going to be a vassal, and enable it when I'm independent.
Lost Nomad  [author] 26 Feb, 2023 @ 3:16pm
@Pikadex
Mods are generally written from the POV of the author and I personally don't like vassals having guaranteed council rights, which is why I wrote the mod that way.

That said, I never give out guaranteed council rights, so as long as the mod purges GCR from newly acquired vassals it would still serve my purposes. So I'll look into setting the mod to remove GCR only for new vassals but there's no guarantee as we don't have full control over every aspect of the game, so if I can't set it up that way then it will remain as it is.

I should have time to investigate the possibility pretty soon.
Pikadex 26 Feb, 2023 @ 12:16pm
The Holy Order part is essential, but just this mod also seems to purge council rights on regular succession, even on a vassal player. Getting council rights is IMO the best and strongest part about being a vassal, so it's a bit of a problem.

I am so happy I came across this mod, definitely a permanent addition to my load order.
Lost Nomad  [author] 5 Dec, 2022 @ 5:33pm
@TurtleShroom
I have not said that there's anything wrong with manually evicting hostile orders.
TurtleShroom 5 Dec, 2022 @ 3:16pm
Why is it so bad to use manual action? The reason I am asking so emphatically is because this is the ONLY Mod that works with Total Conversion Mods and Mods that chagne anything about the UI. All of the other versions just fix the bug itself, which requires overwriting the entire Province Window.
Lost Nomad  [author] 5 Dec, 2022 @ 10:19am
@TurtleShroom
Yes but the whole point of writing this mod was so that the hostile orders would be evicted across the realm with no manual action required. As for possibly causing errors down the line, yes it could, but then also it probably won't.

The mod serves to handle the hostile orders the way I wanted and if other players want to do the same thing they are welcome to use it.
TurtleShroom 5 Dec, 2022 @ 7:55am
No, I mean that an automated system takes up CPU resources and COULD cause errors down the line. A manual Decision is less resource intensive.
Lost Nomad  [author] 4 Dec, 2022 @ 8:30pm
@TurtleShroom
Not sure what you mean by the Decision ?

There is no decision in this mod, and personally I have not seen any log spam from this mod, in fact with all the hours I play this game constantly painting the map, like just finishing the End Of An Era achievement for example, I have not seen any mention of this mod in the error logs at all.
TurtleShroom 4 Dec, 2022 @ 6:25pm
Also, I should note that the Decision is actually less resource intensive and far, far less likely to causes crashes, errors, or log spam.
TurtleShroom 4 Dec, 2022 @ 6:24pm
I wish that you could separate the Council Rights and this Mod. I don't mind the former, but the latter is the only one that does this without overwriting anything...
Lost Nomad  [author] 2 Dec, 2022 @ 4:18am
Anyone looking for an update, afaik this is still working in 1.8, but I will be reviewing the mod later today and will post an update then even if it's just to advance the supported game version number.
Lost Nomad  [author] 12 Nov, 2022 @ 2:46am
@Ange1_Dust care to elaborate on your rather vague request?
DonBaTzu 10 Nov, 2022 @ 1:20am
hey bro, maybe add a file with translation from google? thank you :steamhappy:
Lost Nomad  [author] 7 Nov, 2022 @ 12:24pm
I have replaced the decision based mechanism to an automatic mechanism so there's no user interaction required to purge either council rights or hostile orders.
xtz 23 Oct, 2022 @ 5:36am
jesus this is the thing that has been annoying the bejesus out of me
Zoot 11 Oct, 2022 @ 1:26am
.. new to the game, but .. seriously .. THANK YOU .. you hit two of the issues I (was) really irritated by .. Job Well Done ..
Lost Nomad  [author] 19 Sep, 2022 @ 6:11am
@Northway yeah I guess you might have messed something up in debug mode though I'd be surprised if so. Swapping characters for a brief moment to manipulate their actions before swapping back to your main could also increase the lag if you actually ran the game while swapped, i.e. took the game of pause.

I'm not sure I can do anything to test your problem out given you're the only person that has reported an issue and I've used the mod in many centuries spanning games.

But the new manual feature should help you to evict them to circumvent whatever is causing them to glitch.
Bruh 18 Sep, 2022 @ 11:30pm
Thank you brother, yeah Idk I'm not sure why it hasn't purge it yet, because it's been three month but my character hasn't died yet. Probably because i was also messing with debug mode.
Lost Nomad  [author] 17 Sep, 2022 @ 11:37pm
I have just added a new feature to manually evict unholy orders for those that need to evict a holy order immediately rather than wait for the automatic cycle to evict them. See the description for instructions.
Lost Nomad  [author] 17 Sep, 2022 @ 7:07pm
@Northway The option will only appear once in the decision list for you to activate the mod, once activated it passively runs in the background checking for unholy orders once per month and automatically purging any it finds.

There can be a lag of two to three months if you change characters due to death, abdication, etc while the mod catches up with the new player character.

So at worst you could have an unholy order barricading themselves in for three months before they are evicted. Let me know if any last for longer than four months after you or your vassals conquer new territory because that would indicate a problem.
Bruh 17 Sep, 2022 @ 5:58pm
So the Evict unholy order option disappeared from the list, not sure whether it's intended or not, but I still have other religion holy order in the city that I conquered that I can't evict.
Lost Nomad  [author] 8 Sep, 2022 @ 9:11pm
Bastion 1.7 update done.
Lost Nomad  [author] 8 Sep, 2022 @ 8:59pm
@Bruce Wayne Bastion has just dropped and it's a big update.

Have you cleaned up Gotham yet, I mean it's been a while now since we shone that torch?
Bruce Wayne 8 Sep, 2022 @ 8:11pm
update?
Taspher 7 Sep, 2022 @ 10:22am
Whilst I care less about council rights, does the revocation of holy order leases get used by the AI too? If so, does it look at top-liege faith or just county-holder faith. A mod that removes hold orders if the local count is of the wrong faith is one I'd definitely use, otherwise, I don't need extra advantages over the AI.
