Ich have to check hundred of files for changes and searchign for errors. Also there will be a hotfix from Invictus very likely as there are several errors right now on their end listed in the error log...
please be patient as I am doing all this here alone.
I will upload a pre-beta version soon on my discord which doesn't crash but there is a ton of stuff to do let alone my own new features coming with the next update.
If you’d like to fix it yourself, just take the 02_saba_mission file from Invictus and place it in the same folder within my mod. Then open the file and replace both instances of
"has_building = basic_settlement_infratructure_building"
with
"farming_et_al_trigger = yes"

I've also learned how to w to add characters, I added my friend who passed away to the game. He was fascinated with Alexander the Great, so I used his DNA sequence and mod number from the readme (516) as I saw that was the first available character ID.
BTW, thank you for always being so ready to answer my million questions and things. You have taught me a lot, which on top of being my favourite mod creator for imperator, makes you among my favourite gamer people in general?
To add a character, you’d need to write a simple event where you define his name and skills. If you’d like, I can share a small file with such an event that you can run in your game. We'd need to switch to Discord for that though. ^^
By the way, you can view character IDs by pressing F11, which activates debug mode—just note that it disables achievements.
I want to add a friend of mine who passed away and was fascinated with the Diadoci and Ancient Greece, as a character in my game. Just. Bc. I'm a little saopy
About the name _malename.. what is the first part of the name? egypt_malename or latin_malename or just "_malename"?? Has he a culture set?
The crater _malename is a generated Egyptian citizen. He has been there on most of my playthroughs, I just add an accent and pretend he's gaullic pirate lol. I play in English. I have also noted that around 460BCE the Vassal of Maedia becomes _NEW as opposed to remaining Maedia. Now that coukd be an error I'm creating somehow, as it happens randomly in game as opposed to at the beginning.
About the name of Lysimachos. This is not a bug but a fix XD. The game is very Bad in showing names. So when possible I removed the wrong patronym. As Lysimachos is know in history as just Lysimachos, I changed it this way. His "real" name would be "Lysimachos Agothoklides" as his father was Agathokles.
With the next update I will even increase this by using names like "Peter of Athens" when minor character as all characters get a place of birth. :)
Also, this one is really just down to ocd but, I have noticed for some odd reason, when I load your mod, Lysimachos I Alkimachid and a few other Dacia kings/leaders lose their full name. As an example, Lysimachos becomes simply, Lysimachos. I did see if I could alter these records, but I'm not a modder nor do I want to tinker with somebody else's hard work lol.
I’m assuming that won’t be save game compatible, then? Any rough ETA on that? Mostly wondering if it’s on the order of days or months :)
How stable is the mod? Thinking of starting a long playthrough, maybe over a month or so, with your list of recommended mods (including the timeline extension). Is that safe to do or will I run into CTDs? (Only asking since its in alpha)
It is exciting to hear the TI team are looking at integrating key aspects of your mod, as Imperator really is half the game, without your mod tbh lol
As for Terra Indomita... As far as I know, the Indomita team is already working on implementing some features from my mod, like the family tree. A full merge would probably take a lot of time, and right now, I’m focusing on Invictus—especially knowing that another Invictus update will mean a lot more work for me again.

I also wanted to ask, Do you think it would be difficult to patch your mod, with the likes of Terra Indomita. I know they are not compatible at this stage, but I'd love to try my hand at making a compatch, with your permission, if you think it is attainable? At this stage I refuse to play TI as I simply dont enjoy the game as much, without the beautiful city artwork, terrains, UI and religion of your mod (to name just a couple) Imperator for me, has become unplayable without reanimata haha.

just checked for another countries with new game - no option for ruler to arrange marriage, only through ambition, for different ages and health conditions
btw, marriage trough ambition just generating spouse with no specific bloodline trait from chosen family to marriage with (if family has the one)
no, he was healthy and ~50yo
also, after he died, his heir-new ruler cannot marriage through arrange marriage too (young, healthy)

The ci is working for Monarchies. I just tested it yesterday. Do you use other mods maybe?
