does this only affect the half life 2 npcs or does it also affect nextbots (vj base, drgbase, ect.)?

social guarantee might have the best maps in terms of being fun in the entirety of the workshop

he does know where you are, as soon as the game registers you as his enemy. if you come close enough to the cover, he will shoot you, if you go far enough, he'll stop and do the necessary steps (reach you, retreat, whatever the npc thinks will work the best at the moment). if i just made the npc treat the last seen player position as shootable, it would shoot there indefinitely, which is kind of a problem.

Looks like NPCs will not suppress if player hides behind hl2's concrete barrier props, jush rushes in.

this one makes npc's actually shoot in your direction when you're not directly visible, the one that's linked is just an effect when someone shoots at you

About time! My one biggest gripe about Half-Life 2's NPCs is how robotic they are, especially with how they only shoot you the millisecond you show skin around a corner.
