I love this mod !
I would suggest to lower the amount of gold asked which seems overkilled. Or even more, to replace it by a a sum of prestige to give to your commander. Would seems more historical than some payment in cash ;)

Betrayal event should not trigger if ur relation is >40 with ur commander. I will check later to see whats the problem

my friend with +100 opinion just defected to the enemy in the middle of a (winning) battle. Gotta uninstall this mod for now because it is even more immersion breaking than without.

@ck3user7748 Thanks for reporting, I have adjusted the frequency of events. For unlanded character event , my plan is to split unlanded and lowborn into independent events. What I am trying to represent in these event is that rulers are more motivated to appoint (powerful) vassals as their commanders instead of trusting low-born and guest.

I like the concept but the only event I ever had fire was related to unlanded generals. I would recommend changing that event to commoner, such that nobles are able to serve. Also, the frequency should be reconsidered , as I had that event fire at least a dozen times and can't remember any other events firing from this mod. I am not 100% certain, but I don't think it is a given that field generals all had fiefs in this era in western europe but it is plausible at least for that location. I am certain that this was *not* the case outside of western europe, so if you are sticking with landed/unlanded you may need to make this culture dependent. Probably easier just to change to an event htat fires with commoners which is plausible for all cultures in that era.

Would you consider a version where the MAA are left for the liege, so the commander only rebels with the levies (and whatever vassals' troops rally behind the rebelling commander)? I was thinking about it solely for the non-vanilla MAA at first but I think of MAA as the liege's personal retinue, so saying they'd rebel feels a bit off.

@avVE Ai has a much lower rate of events. I don't want to change how ai appoint commander since it will overwrite a bunch of vanilla files.

Update: I tried this on a brand new game as well and the remove commander SPAM started right away. It could be a conflict with a mod. I also have this at the bottom of my load order.

Just loaded this up on a save. Immediately the replace commander event began to trigger for ALL of my courtiers asking that they be removed as the commander of an army that wasn't raised. Even children were asking that they be removed as a commander. Might not happen with a fresh start. I LOVE the idea of this mod. I may try a new game to see what happened.

@Lil cumstain Powerful vassal are more likely to rebel. @ObiBong506 In theory yes, but this mods is balanced around vanilla. Also rebellion script can not recognize AGOT custom MAA so they will be replaced with footman.

I would go further and add less likely to betray for Friendly Clan Gov, and more for Hostile Clan Gov if you want to add.

I am personally a huge fan of Clan Gov and there's nothing else that feels more immersive.

I use knight manager (plus or continued) and hope it doesn't break this cause this mod seems amazing. I love immersion and anything I can do to interact with the ai more is fun. Is it possible to bribe enemy commanders or have ours bribed to throw a battle (give them a temp modifier that makes them less likely to die in battle but gives them -30 or something advantage the whole fight?)

Great mod!

My feedback is to focus on expanding/polishing "2. Reward and penalty after a decisive battle" , as these are the events that have more potential, because of that "should have been in vanilla game" feeling :)

haha my oversight. Added a check to prevent betray event from firing with superpositive relations and family members are now less likely to betray.
