Fiddled around with that for a while and couldn't get it to work. If I ever do revisit it, which is pretty likely, I'll try to include some more movement, either in the form of smaller comets shooting past or finding a way to make the comet itself move without looking weird. I'll keep these ideas in mind.

It's a really cool effect but like others said it would be cooler if it wasn't static, i could see it shooting out to the left and disappearing like an actual comet

Trailing is actually a really good idea. Might do that if I ever revisit it, but the way I made the comet particle could make it annoying to implement

this thing can be fun with trace effect like burning flame, not static
