I totally agree to what 40ozKilla mentioned. Portaling from room 1 to room 3 is still the biggest issue!

I got stuck by portaling from the 1st room to the 3rd. I was actually stumped for about 5 mins thinking it was a good map. I spent about 10x more time on wondering why I'm stuck than completing the puzzle. 3/10 for decent visuals

Having already done the laser room already, thinking that it would provide me a way to get back to the center, once I did the rooms in the right sequence I decided to just use the bouncy gel to get teh cube in the third perimeter chamber. You could "fix" this by putting an emancipation grid in the doorway of the laser room which could be deactivated by a button inside the chamber to get the cube back out.

Took me forever to figure out that the dark slate slanted surface in the first of the perimeter chambers is in fact a portal surface. becaise of its color and texture, it didn't even occur to me o try a portal there. Obscuring the elements in this manner is not a great way to make a chamber harder.

Yeah, I somehow missed the fact that the cube would turn on the bridge to chamber 2, but I did notice that I could easily project a portal into chamber three from chamber 1. It was only after I trapped myself in three and had to restart that I discovered the bridge sequence. You definitely need to put some sort of barrier in three so you can't portal in.

You aren't supposed to be able to portal into the room with the lasers, you are supposed to get to each chamber using the bridges, forcing you to do the puzzles in a specific order. I just updated this map, but I may come back and fix the issue once the others are updated.

It is still possible to get from chamber 1 to chamber 3 by portaling. Only now, because of the mesh over the laser surface, you get stuck in chamber 3 with no way out.

yeah well you can use the blue gel for everything,which kills the puzzle theme a little bit since its not supposed to be done like that. Anyway good map!

Yeah that is an issue... I've fixed it, but for some reason it will not update the map on the workshop. The same thing happened with Memories when i tried to fix it.

I like how the rooms are inter-dependent, and the trap door exit was a nice touch. I didn't understand the room with the rising platforms. For one thing, there's a portal surface at the ledge so you don't need the risers. For another thing, what do you do once you get up there? The ledge doesn't seem to have any role in the puzzle.

Good point. When I first desinged the map, you could do the chambers in any order. I only added the specific order after everything else because I felt it needed something more. If there are any other exploits that actualy skip parts of the puzzle and get the cubes quicker, I would appreciate it if you let me know so i could fix those problems.

As an aside, this test has exploits in it. For example, I can get to the third rom from the first just by portaling.

That may be very well the wrong way to approach Hammer. To be honest, it may be best to hold off on Hammer until you get a good grasp on the easier to use in-game editor. You may be biting off more than you can chew. Here's a guide for that:

yeah I'm really bad at using the Hammer. It's so confusing... Right now Im using the BEEMOD to make my maps, then i just export to the Hammer and change the visuals.

No full compile. Hammer used without rhyme or reason. It's obvious you exported from the in-game editor. Before export, you could have disabled rail oscillation for the railed platform for the one cube in that room. Also didn't need those piston platforms.
