Still nice, there are a lot of flashing textures in the first chamber though.
On the specifics it is possible to get the first cube with a fling thanks to the debris in the goo providing a landing spot (coming out from the wall in front of the pressure plate) . There I am pretty sure this is unintended since you can get it more elegantly with the funnel . Also, I do not know if the “increasing difficulty” refers to chamber 2 being more difficult that chamber 1, But I personally found chamber 1 to be the more difficult one (not that it matters, both had a good difficulty level).
PS: double posts, another reason to regret the sad death of TWP
Anyway, this map I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end, great puzzle ideas throughout. And it may have less custom visuals than others, it still looks great.
(:3
While mapping, I just sometimes fear that some advanced intended moves can discourage players that didn't figured them out. But it's not the case here IMO. And in the chambers I tested among your workshop, skills always serve a real puzzle : keep up the good work ;)
(advanced things in the other hand can also make great tests for players knowing them or discovering them in !)
Cheers!
@Almisuifre: thanks a lot for commenting, mate! Ye, I know I often take advantage of some mechanics which are a mixture of logic and skill... probably because I enjoy solving that kind of chambers myself as player :) I wish I could make pure logic chambers and keep being creative, like you do, but to me it always comes easier to hide the solution behind uncommon maneuvers :p Happy to hear that despite those somewhat nasty moves, you enjoyed it!
I figured out the second part relatively quickly, but it took many attempts before I could pull it off, mainly because of portal-related disorientation. (Many attempts ended with me running around the top floor "whereisitwhereisitwhereisit!!" and then seeing the cube serenely drifting up the not-relocated tractor beam behind me... I did manage it eventually though :)
Even if some moves are my cup of goo hehe (cube through grating/air strafing) it has been enjoyable anyway ! Well done !
A great challenge of skill and intelligence that make this map, the best you can find on the WS of Portal 2.
Thanks for sharing
@AerialPosterior: thanks for the feedback, dude! :D I'm glad you liked the first chamber! I'm aware that the 2nd one is a bit harder to figure out and also to perform...
Muchas gracias por tus palabras, tío, me animan mucho a continuar mapeando! <3 Aunque no sé si realmente merezco tales elogios! :p
En definitiva, excelente trabajo, espero verte trabajando en más proyectos de este tipo. Tienes mucho talento, sigue usándolo :)
I hope that you liked the latest pictures on the mod page, I'm working on it but I don't like to show much yet :p Stay tuned though!
BTW, I uploaded the Solution Video for the map. It's up there beside the screenshots. Here is the YouTube page
(*begins stroking his chin ominously and starts to wonder to himself*)
Hm, even though the design was AMAZING as always, I was actualy able to beat this one with no problems. And he is posting more screenshots on his Moddb page. What is he up to?????
@YerMom: well, I realized about the lag after the last update, and I think I can do something to improve playability yet. Will be needed to do it on next month though :/
@kimist108: Thank YOU for playing! :D
@ken.roberts: Thank you so much for your comments! <3 Regarding the lag, I know a lot of details can lead to some lag as Talisac mentioned... however I still think I can improve it in next update. Thanks for pointing out!
Official solution video will be available within today and tomorrow...
@kwinten: Thanks for your comments! Please allow me to answer in English since French language and me never got along :p Well, I must admit 2nd chamber is a bit tougher, maybe for higher skilled players than required for the 1st chamber, however I would not call it ninja level :P ... First chamber was never based in or influenced by Crawler Advanced :) I wish my puzzle would be at least half as good as that puzzle! I had to revisit it to check out why you said so, and It's true that there are a couple of similarities, but nothing intended, really.
@Haggis: Thanks for your super nice comments, my friend! :D I'm so happy that you figured out the puzzles and that you enjoyed the custom items too! <3
If I have to report some "negative" points, it would be:
- heavy detailed map makes my computer lag a lot (it's a laptop but it is supposed to be far above portal 2 requirements... maybe game engine isn't made for supporting so many details.) This is adding difficulty to jumps, especially in second part.
- I would avoid the "break" in second part ground floor, under the funnel, to easier jump execution
- weird cube behavior, when you try to fling it on the button
En tout cas c'est un travail magnifique à la fois niveau réflexion et mapping !!

Hm. I guess there aren't any - I did everything as RectorRocks from start to finish in about 35 minutes.
What I probably did differently from others is that when I got to the second room I started jumping around the hole in the grating out of joy that I managed to solve the first chamber. So I spent about 3 minutes jumping in a circle. #livingmylifeprofitably :D
