great puzzle! Managed to finish in ~30 mins and it was quite enjoyable. The conveyor belt in room 1 is utilized beautifully!

Wow. Some very unique ideas here that you won’t find anywhere else. Second part was a little easier but still caught me for a few minutes though, even with the marked surfaces, wondering how the heck I was supposed to drop the cube onto the exit button from afar… thought I’d have to do that seldom-used technique of pre-placing one solid portal and placing the other one later to drop the cube , though thinking back on it that doesn’t make any sense at all since the second portal surface isn’t readily visible.

Have another fav, in any case.

Difficulty: 4.5/10

That was most certainly some medium-level difficulty!
Took me at least 30-45 minutes to get it right.

Amazing puzzle! Took me two days to get through the first room, and I can't believe I missed what was right in front of me.
Solinoxia 18 Nov, 2023 @ 3:42am
great puzzle! I had to go back and forward a bit before I had figured out all the pieces but they do fit together nicely. For me this one was very much a how instead of a what which means it's well designed.
Malacatero 10 Mar, 2023 @ 9:54am
really difficult, it took me several hours to solve the first part, a masterpiece, one of the most challenging levels I've ever played
Stan The Man 15 Jul, 2022 @ 2:07am
In fact the first part is not too difficult, but not directly straightforward.... I needed some time figure it out. Great fun!
xo_2025 3 Jun, 2022 @ 5:04am
The question I asked myself the most in this level: How can I bring (insert object/gel) to this place? Excellent idea! Took me years, but it seems that today my mind was set for this type of puzzle because I enjoyed it very much!

This was very fun, not that hard compared to your others but just hard enough for me.
waghihgaghhhhn 23 Sep, 2021 @ 5:33am
your map always good and classic.
Mister Faker 8 Jul, 2021 @ 8:51am
I was a little bit angry at the time so don't take my comment too serious. It's just hard to concentrate while there's a conveyor belt which grabs too much attention. Other then that your maps are incredibly well done. Not even sure how much time it takes to make one:winter2019happysnowman:

The most unintuitive level I played yet. Took me 3 hours to "beat" the first part. Seriously, this is insanely difficult. I tried multiple solutions throughout this 3 hours but none of them were even close to the right one. Second part was easy but because of my rage on the level I couldn't see what I have to do. I played some of the maps from the same author and while they were tricky, they were manageable. This one however is too difficult. I don't like puzzles where you need to guess the only possible route throughout many of them. Don't even try this level unless you feel INSANELY confident in your knowledge

Really hard (especially the first part) but super enjoyable. Well done!
cobitp 6 Sep, 2020 @ 6:02pm
Absolutely wonderful. I've played over 1800 community levels and am amazed at how inventive levels continue to be, but this one really put all my acquired skills to the test. I was stuck on the second part for ages and when it suddenly came to me I was thrilled. Thanks for your planning and efforts!

Another fantastic adventure in northern Michigan. What I like the most about @Ben77's puzzles is the way they start out looking like they're going to be too easy, but they're not, nor are they too difficult.

@Fantozzi I tried that once, for fun, even though I knew it wouldn't stay on the button even if it did happen to hit it. At the time I don't think I saw any other use for the hand sanitizer gel (posted in spring, 2020).
bullfrog 28 Mar, 2020 @ 3:06am
This is still an excellent puzzle, especially the fists chamber.
Nyck 24 Mar, 2020 @ 7:48am
In the last part, instead of placing the cube in the X, I let the cube slide in the gel and through the portal; during that time I walked to the elevator.

Something curious happened on my very first playthrough and i assumed it to be an easter egg but i've not been able to recreate so far. glitch? i'll tag it here just in case As soon as the level starts when you find yourself in the room with the wooden crates on the right, i absent-mindedly shot at the crates with the blue portal and out popped the heart Weighted Companion Cube. i was able to grab it and take it like normal
MmmmmmhHHHhhhhhhmmmm 9 Oct, 2019 @ 7:51am
Very nice. The first part took me a while since I forgot that the two rooms were connected. The last one was easier. Though, again, I probably wouldn't have figured it out if not for the No Elements chambers.

@Fantozzi I like your style.
GSC 17 Jul, 2019 @ 12:27pm
The first part was way too hard. Second part was manageable.

You're not a good person, you know that right.

Very well done, gave me a hard time but solved it in the end!

Brilliant levels! Thank you!

Very nice logic in the map :)

Fantastic first level! The second level is very nice too
c4shurik 28 Aug, 2018 @ 7:31am
I played this map a few days, 30 min each day, very good ))
Ick Am Su 25 Aug, 2018 @ 11:14am
Very challenging but a lot of fun. That first chamber was a dozzie.
bitnykk 1 May, 2018 @ 10:02am
Some of the hardest levels played so far ... i don't like when it's too obvious but for some of these, wouldn't some hints have been welcomed for more playability ? Just asking ;)
Fantozzi 14 Mar, 2018 @ 1:11pm
The first puzzle was great! Was i the only person who tried 100+ attempts of putting cube into blue gel and throwing it into the room with water button? :steamhappy:
Quillsh 3 Jan, 2018 @ 7:19am
I did it! but
I solved it a little different way in first chamber.

You renamed this from Conveyor to this, which made me nervous that your deleted it.

Honestly one of the hardest ones I've played. Stuck on the conveyor belt
gerversluis 4 Feb, 2017 @ 6:06am
Man, you're a genious!
TaiMai13 23 Jan, 2017 @ 2:59am
First part took me over an hour and I was so happy to reach the control room, only to find out it wasn't actually the exit. Arrgggh!!! But the second part was actually a great little wind down after the difficulty of the first part and ended up putting a smile on my face. You keep knocking it out of the park Ben
bullfrog 8 Jan, 2017 @ 10:53pm
Brilliant map and favorited. 1st chamber took me a while and a break to solve - almost gave up and watched the playthrough, but so glad I didn't. 2nd chamber I worked out and solved quite quickly. Both chambers are excellent. Thank you.
torax+***** 18 Dec, 2016 @ 8:05am
In both parts it helps that it is possible to figure out how you want things setup, then it is "just a matter of getting there".

Took we quite a while to figure out, but I was entertained along the wayl.
ceejaysmith 18 Dec, 2016 @ 2:45am
This is brilliant. Both parts superb.

This is very hard, i spend a lot or time in this map. I think, this is the hardest Map in Portal 2 i ever play.

Brilliant.

I had some little problem hahah but I finally got the goal!!!
lfairban 16 Oct, 2016 @ 4:51pm
Great map! Having different parts in places where you could not see everything at once made it more challenging.
