From the maker of Europe 1100 comes a brand new mod set at the turn of the 18th century.

EoE1700 is a historical overhaul of Bannerlord that adds:
  • 611 unique lords
  • 207 noble houses
  • 15 Kingdoms
  • 23 playable cultures
  • 17-18th century gunpowder warfare including muskets, rifles, pistols, artillery, and grenades.

Note that with the new version the only required mod is Harmony! If you are coming from a previous version you must remove/unsubscribe from Core, Assets, and Lemmy Map!


Load Order
The full load order should be:
  1. Harmony
  2. Core Modules
  3. Any other mods
  4. EoE1700

• Playable area expanded into Finland,
• Multiple new settlements in Finland, Belgium, and France, and the Caucasus,
• Faro added as a Town in Portugal, and Ciudad Real in Spain,
• Addition of Jeddah, Mecca, and Taif,
• Sound effect variations for all firearms,
• Fix for broken looted village icons,
• New Finnish culture and troop tree,
• Athens and Tehran are now Towns instead of castles,
• Groningen culture changed to Dutch,
• Brussels and Southern Dutch settlements given to Spain,
• "Dutch Republic" settlements will start with Great Britain (due to William of Orange),

• All AI lords now have Tactics = 200 - this should mean no more AI charging with cavalry...,
• All castle scenes have been replaced with a unique and appropriate replacement,
• Multiple new equipment variations for western notables,
• All Artillery units are now "Ranged". All Pikemen and Grenadiers are now "Infantry" (previously Artillery).,
• Additional sound variations for artillery,
• Additional battle music variations,
• New icons for custom workshop types

This update IS NOT SAVEGAME COMPATIBLE.

Black Screen / Missing Gear / Missing Icons FIX
This happens if your Bannerlord installation is on the c:\ drive. The fix is to move your Bannerlord installation do another drive using the normal Steam method (go to library, properties, installed files, move install folder).

If you do not have another drive, Google "how to create a new partition in windows".

Alternatively, switch to the Nexus version which does not have this issue.

i thing as long as you have recruited the troops that can arm/use them you press on the start of the battle ( where you place the troops ) the "K" button ( NOT 100% SURE! )

how do you get cannons for your own guys? keep getting dumped on by them but can't find my own

Because base game technology/time period is wacky and doesn't make much sense other than being Medieval

I would replace prosperity with Population and Susceptibility and have Plagues and Diseases.

Also some sort of mechanic like Industrialisation that multiplies production in workshops... and somehow increases the max population or food production in towns/villages like tractors as a tech

also I like playing with Honest Work, but that mod gives you a percentage of the towns gold instead of an hourly wage would be cool if you could work in towns too, like in a workshop or something.

Wish somebody would make an Era/Technology tree like CK4 with hundreds of years of tech.. like High Middle Ages, Renaissance... Pike and Shot to Musket Warfare combat. Maybe have gunpowder as an workshop good made from saltpeter and sulfur to make it expensive.

A lot of people seem to be reporting crashes - nothing has changed on the EoE side so I believe this may be due to other mod compatibility. Please try with just Harmony and 1700 so that you can rule out other mods.

Also since the last TW update it seems necessary to delete your shaders folder:

C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Shaders

You may also need to delete your configs folder at:

Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs
