  • Fixed up the annual check on family members with the Will Not Wed trait so them asking to marry their lover is far more likely to occur. The same applies to a "shotgun wedding" request if a family member with Will Not Wed has a child (or their lover does) while both are free to otherwise marry.
  • If a family member with Will Not Wed has a lover who they can't marry, there's a good chance an event will fire where you find out about it. The event will give you the opportunity to either demand they break up or, if appropriate, the lover changes whatever is preventing their marriage (like abandoning their vows to stop being a nun). You can also leave the situation as-is, though this event only fires once for a given character.
  • The base chance of an introduction being successful has been raised, and the effect on success by the event which can occur the night before the introduction made more prominent.
  • Maidens now no longer leave court if they have a child by their liege, whether the father is known or not.
  • Lessened the prohibition against older men betrothing female children - the age gap has been considerably widened, and even then the malus is -100 rather than -1000.

ANSF3 Update:
  • You can now add children for the player, both legitimate and bastards (for bastard children, you'll create a new mother as you do with siblings), in the main family menu.
  • You can select a different culture/faith for both of your parents. Note, however, that you cannot join the house of a parent of a different culture (different faith is fine). Both of your parents also cannot be of a different culture... if your father is a different culture, for instance, the option to change the culture for your mother will simply not appear.
  • The interface now remembers your settings whenever you discard a character, so if you create a new one you no longer have to go back and change all the settings all over again (unless you want to).
  • When attaching your player character to an existing dynasty, the code now takes into account whether you assigned them the Bastard of Legitimized Bastard trait in the character designer. Note, however, that if you assign Legitimized Bastard you might still be required to change to a Bastard if the dynasty requires it (the reverse is not true).
  • Created parents now have a chance of "reverse inheriting" an inheritable trait from the player character, and are far less likely to have any directly contradictory inheritable traits (like Pretty vs. Ugly).
  • Created siblings, spouses, and children (anyone with parents, in fact) now have the normal chance of inheriting traits from their parents during creation. The chance of being assigned these traits without inheritance, however, has been roughly halved (though you're still free to add one, as always - this just means characters are more likely to have two or more inheritable traits at start, if merited).
  • The validation of traits post-creation has been streamlined, so there's far less chance of a character having too many or too few.
  • At the outset of the event chain, two dead characters are created to become parents of any discarded characters - the game's dummy male/female characters are no longer used, as those had no culture/faith and caused the error log to fill up.
  • Fixed up a bunch of the tooltips to be more explicit about what's going to happen.

Actualizare: 8 mai 2024 @ 16:14

  • Updated for the new patch.
  • Added a reaction event when a ruler sends their close family member into seclusion and she has a lover. If the lover is a landed ruler, they have the option of either spiriting her away from the nunnery and either marrying her immediately (this will be counted as an elopement) or keeping her as their courtier (this will be counted as abduction) -- or simply allowing it to happen, in which case the lover status is ended. Lovers who aren't rulers have no choice but to allow it to happen.
  • Added compatibility for mods which use the FF_ward_limit value to change the number of allowed wards.

Actualizare: 19 apr. 2024 @ 23:39

  • Updated the compatibility with Travel the Distance, using the mod's new marriage acceptance modifiers.
  • A few minor fixes in places with scoping errors.

ANSF3 udpate:
  • The option for your father to be murdered has been updated so that the murderer makes sense (they're an adult who is the type of personality capable of performing such an act, or who has a good reason) and the option only appears in the first place if there's a valid murderer available.

Actualizare: 9 apr. 2024 @ 14:32

Updated for the 1.12.4 patch.

Actualizare: 21 mart. 2024 @ 22:12

  • Updated mod to 1.12.3.
  • Added game rule to disable automatic assignation of guardians.

Actualizare: 14 mart. 2024 @ 20:55

  • ANSF3 now plays better with other mods that alter the childbirth age or age of adolescence.
  • There is a chance that overriding a family member's Refuses to Marry trait will prompt them to rebel. If they do, they will either take vows, join a holy order, or simply run off. If they do the latter, they might eventually ask to return... though it may be with a commoner spouse they found while traveling!
  • Fixed the introduction variables not properly clearing when an introduction is canceled.
  • Fixed a number of incorrect tooltips with introductions.
  • Training your heir no longer requires that you be completely available (meaning not traveling, commanding an army, or in an activity) - so long as you and your heir are in the same location, training will still proceed. This includes both you and your heir commanding armies, so long as they are in the same province.
  • The "marrying down" malus to marriage acceptance is lessened when marrying into the families of one's vassals, and lessened even more when it's a powerful vassal. The "desires alliance" marriage acceptance bonus now also applies to alliances with one's vassals.

Actualizare: 7 mart. 2024 @ 16:36

  • Updated for patch 1.12.2.1.
  • If a player asks permission to marry after a courtship, and permission is refused, the option to make your target your secret lover now displays the proper tooltip if they refuse.
  • Elope schemes are no longer invalidated by traveling or commanding an army.
  • Family members that are sent off to seclusion and then left there are far more likely to become nuns.
  • Family members are more likely to ask for the right to marry for love if you arranged a successful introduction for one of their siblings.
  • Arranging an introduction with a pool character no longer treats them as residing in your court after they travel to your capital for the introduction.
  • Some minor loc fixes.

Actualizare: 6 mart. 2024 @ 5:00

  • Removed debug notification that I accidentally left in.
  • "Desperate to marry" AI marriage modifier no longer applies to marriage candidates who are lowborn.
  • The AI no longer disregards the lowborn status of marriage candidates when they are over the age of 25.
  • The AI decision to marry has been reworked to find better candidates, and now also will never select a lowborn candidate.
  • Family members who ask for introductions will only ask for matrilineal marriages if this complies with the game rule setting on matrilineal marriages.
  • Refined the introduction computation a bit to apply a bit more weight against lowborns and a bit more weight on good stats and good birth.

Actualizare: 5 mart. 2024 @ 4:17

  • Updated the mod to patch 1.12.1.
  • New Feature: Close relatives of rulers, if they are particularly bold, may demand the right to marry who they wish. You can override them or do as they wish. If you do, they gain the 'Refuses to Marry' trait, and cannot be married off by normal means... you can instead arrange introductions as a new form of 'find spouse' interaction. This brings a potential suitor they approve of to your capital to meet the family member, and if they like each other it could be a love match! If they don't... well, you can still override the relative's wishes, though they won't like it.
  • Close relatives who have the 'Refuses to Marry' trait will sometimes propose introductions on their own. They will consider giving it up at age 20, if they haven't married by then, and the chance gets much higher as they get older.
  • Unlanded heirs in your court are now far more likely to have extra children.
  • Lots of smaller bug fixes.
