@keanz I don't use Veritas, but going over the mod description I think it should be compatible. Note that Veritas introduces skill requirements for perks, which might be hard to meet with this mod enabled. In that case you could try switching to "Gentle Adjustments" in this mod's settings.

Hi, does your mod compatible with "Veritas - Lifestyle Perks Overhaul"?
neutron_pressure  [author] 2 Apr @ 8:48am
@7 Sure, I have added an option for that in the Settings decision

Can it only target the player character without affecting the AI?

@Guagh I forgot to say, the fix should prevent characters getting these traits, but the ones who already have them will still be around. Let me know if that is still very annoying and I will try to think of something.

@Guagh Thanks! It seems that generated characters were sometimes assigned the dummy traits I created for compatibility. It should be fixed now.
Guagh 29 Mar @ 10:06pm
Forgot to add, it also does this when its the only mod enabled

For some reason the traits 'Move more lifestyles...' and so on keep on being given to Characters, not sure if its intentional but its really odd. I have this basically at the top and In using, for the most part, a lot of the major Mods like RICE/EPE/CFP, Culture Expanded, etc.

But for the skill part it works just fine and its really enjoyable not having the Giga Emperor of the Byzantine Empire steam roll everyone.

@finallyciv Thanks! It should be fixed now.

Yes, it works! I noticed that there are missing locations for: learning_adjustment_modifier_desc, prowess_adjustment_modifier_desc etc.
neutron_pressure  [author] 25 Mar @ 2:42pm
@finallyciv I don't use those mods, but as far as I can tell they only change existing lifestyles by editing perks and adding new trees to them, so they should be compatible.
neutron_pressure  [author] 25 Mar @ 2:32pm
@akagi I have set the skill adjustment to be triggered by quarterly_playable_pulse and random_yearly_everyone_pulse as well. This means that playable characters will have an update roughly every two months, while non-playable ones will have one about twice a year. So far my testing showed no performance issues, so I made it the default.
finallyciv 25 Mar @ 2:25pm
What would happen to the calculation when I use the mods Additional Lifestyles and Lifestyles Improved?
neutron_pressure  [author] 25 Mar @ 12:59pm
@akagi Thanks. The reason for the relatively rare updates is to minimize performance impacts, while the choice of doing it on birthdays distributes the work evenly over the year. I will try to think of a way to make it more frequent and add it as an option.

I really appreciate your work on the mod, it helps a lot. However may I suggest modifying skill values monthly instead of ‌yearly based on their birthdays. The duration could be too long and in the meantime the values would be unbalanced.
neutron_pressure  [author] 23 Mar @ 11:39am
@finallyciv By default the thresholds for individual skills are adjusted separately, so characters should have significantly higher skill values for skills they have an education or lots of perks in. Did you switch to the basic version of the mod?
finallyciv 23 Mar @ 2:38am
I really like your mod, the only thing I'm not sure about is that most characters seem to end up with the same number of trait points. In other words, a lack of variance. What is your experience? Do you think an adjustment for more variance is possible? Maybe also in the lower score range. So that it's not just capped and everyone ends up with 20 20 20 20 20 20.

Thanks, I really appreciate it.

If you are using More Lifestyles then it t needs to be loaded before that, otherwise you can put it anywhere.
Barrel Man 15 Mar @ 3:36am
where should this go in the load order?
