You need to be a character with northern cultures (which means a culture using norse gfx), commision a greatsword weapon, then you will get the northern greatsword.

Screenshot_17-25 are taken with greatsword mod installed. Nothing is happening when I try to change any ruler designer feature added to the game by epe mod. Choosing epe's options or dragging the sliders (of the epe's options) brings no changes to the character face.

Screenshot_26-28 are taken without the mod just to check what it should look like. Hard not to notice elf ears. I also tried my best to show working head asymmetry, but the changes are quite subtle. You may need to place screenshots side by side to see it.

The vanilla ruler designer options are working fine. It's just the epe's ones that are broken(as I believe, every single one of them but that may be untrue).
And I believe that's all about this issue. No crashes, characters don't appear to be "broken". They're just lacking the facial features Epe should give them.

It is just like that. Your mod under cfp, epe and compatch (and that's all, no other mods were enabled). I've also tried to put it before but no results

Just now tried to reinstall mods completely. Like deleting these mods folders and redownloading it. The issue sadly is still there.

Mod is breaking some of epe sliders and options in ruler designer menu. Tested with only cfp, epe, compatch, better barbershop, color picker and this mod enabled

interesting. i hope you make guns and such for special rich sponsor. maybe 16 century full plate armour. full horse plate armour :D? we have a manoscript for such an idea but i don't think it was ever made in practice due to costs.

Check the game rule options. Are you using default era and cultural limiation option, and playing in a greatsword unavailable era or culture?

I am not finding that option come up in the commission options. Is there a console command to give greatsword artifiact to test its working in game? Files look correct and I am unsure if there is a conflict for Vanilla as I have tested on its own with and without other mods.

i would love to see some fantasy great swords as well like a dragonslayer or moonlight or just runed swords like old valyrian steel magic swords idk just a thought ik you guys are going for realism but i would still love if for other mods like agot or other fantasy conversion mods

i noticed that most of the time my greatsword (and other weapon artifacts) are being overwritten by the default sword texture dictated by my culture. I can see the greatsword texture show up for a split second before being replaced.

If it work when you play as ruler, then it works when you play as adventurer.

There are two ways to check:

1. as adventurer, travel to a city, visit blacksmith and there is a chance greatsword artifact appears in the shop. You may need to try multiple time to get it though.

(2) Go to Crusader Kings III\game\common\character_interactions folder, find the file 00_debug_interactions.txt. Open 00_debug_interactions.txt, find "SET_WEAPON_TYPE = flag:none" in line 1272. Change "SET_WEAPON_TYPE = flag:none" into "SET_WEAPON_TYPE = flag:artifact_weapon_type_greatsword". Use debug mode to launch the game, right click your character - bestow artifact - weapon.

Just play as a ruler, hire an Antiquarian and use decision to commission a greatsword artifact.

None, in vanilla longsword is a "sub weapon type" of sword, it doesn't have an independent commission option. Commiting a sword have a chance to get a longsword if specific conditions are met.

This mod changes nothing relate to longsword so the vanilla behavior remains.
