  • Family feast events now use the large-style event windows.
  • Rebalanced the chances of getting certain lover events.
  • Fixed a number of small localization errors.

Updates to ANSF3:
  • ANSF3 events now use the large-style event windows. The most prominent difference you'll notice is that the interface for customizing parameters of created family members is no longer a separate window but now appears inside the main event window and moves along with it.
  • When generating a family for the player ruler, the final event is now a "family news" event. You can kill one parent (either your father or your mother, if she's the house head), both parents, or kill nobody and just take over as house head instead (or none of these things). If you kill both parents, they both automatically die in an accident, but if you just kill one parent they still get a follow-up event to determine how they die (you also have an alternative for them to get cancer but not die immediately).
  • Both generated parents no longer automatically assume the player's DNA and appearance. One of them has to, but the other can now have a different appearance entirely.
  • Added the Bastard, Bastard Founder, Legitimized Bastard, and Wild Oat traits into the list of Flaw traits. Use at your own risk - other than checking whether the character's faith uses such traits, they don't do any other kind of error checking or cause any other changes once applied.
  • Fixed the event text on the half-sibling generation event.

Opdatering: 17. dec. 2024 kl. 1:29

  • Added an entirely new "lover system" which adds regular events with non-consort lovers and soulmates (from among a batch of more than 60 brand new mod events) and tracks a rating for how strong the love is between you. If the rating drops too low, soulmates can be downgraded into lovers or you could even break up. If it raises high enough, lovers can be upgraded into soulmates. There are two new game rules which govern who gets these events (by default its everyone in your player realm) and how often -- or at all, if you'd prefer to simply turn it off.
  • Added Polish stubs (they'll be in English, but at least you won't get loc key references)
  • The Sacred Childbirth tenet now reduces the chance of birth complications.
  • The "Constant Care" dynasty perk now reduces the chance of birth complications as well as post-natal depression.
  • Mothers who get ill after giving birth in seclusion will no longer be permanently ill.
  • Fixed introduction attendees sometimes being permanently left with the variables preventing introductions/marriage in rare cases where one of the involved parties dies while en route to the introduction.
  • Fixed rare case in the event where you discover someone with the Refuses to Wed trait has a lover they can't marry, you'll not longer be told they CAN marry if you previously refused their marriage to someone else (yet they had other reasons they were unable to marry aside from that). Also cleaned up the code in the various options.
  • Lovers of rulers and heirs no longer appear as candidates for the regular courtier marriage proposal scheme.

Updates to ANSF3:
  • Fixed the loading of traits when using the "Create Spouse" interaction, so you can now alter the traits for the spouse and any created family for them.

Opdatering: 28. nov. 2024 kl. 12:04

  • Updated for the 1.14.2.2 patch.

Opdatering: 19. nov. 2024 kl. 1:59

  • Updated for the 1.14.1 patch.
  • Aethelred in the 867 start no longer gets maidens on game start or can use the decision to get more. Matilda now can no longer use the decision, on top of not getting maidens on game start.
  • Some refinement of the triggers used for calculating when a character has "enough" children that they don't worry as much about marrying a fertile spouse.
  • Edited the triggers for the "Friendship" family feast, to make them more realistic.
  • Lesbian romances now count as "forbidden" for some triggers which track whether a pairing is such, if the religion forbids samesex relations, instead of only two men.

Opdatering: 11. nov. 2024 kl. 2:16

  • Removed another debug marriage notification that was left in the build.
  • Re-wrote the way courtier marriage proposals work. The only differences you'll see: if a second liege needs to be asked permission for the marriage, they'll never turn it down (their agreement is already ascertained in the code beforehand). Options now include courtiers who are family to their lieges, and the evaluation of both the proposers and the targets is more rigorous.
  • Adjusted the AI evaluation of courtier marriage targets to be less focused on traits (for courtiers who aren't rulers or heirs and thus don't need to worry about it as much) and more focused on attraction. Targets who are far away will now get slight reductions to their perceived worth.
  • Fixed some bad scopes that were causing errors.
  • Fixed some broken loc references in the "Acrimony" family feast event.
  • Maidens will now almost always opt for patrilineal marriages, even in religions where sexes are equal.
  • AI rulers will now never betrothe children who are close family unless it results in an alliance. With players, it is still allowed though they will have a malus against agreeing to it, as before.

Updates for ANSF3:
  • Removed all headwear for created family members. The headwear is restored when you go to the edit traits screen.

Opdatering: 9. nov. 2024 kl. 15:25

Removed a debug marriage notification that was left in the build by accident.

Opdatering: 9. nov. 2024 kl. 4:52

  • Updated for the 1.14.0.2 patch.
  • Evened out the weighting on the Family Feast events so varied events are a bit more likely.
  • Courtiers who are only kinsmen/kinswomen may now also attend family feasts.
  • Fixed the "My Ward" family feast event so it now fires properly.
  • Expanded the requirements for the "Acrimony" family feast event, so the list of feast attendees who can become rivals with each other is not only larger but more realistic. The loc for the event has been expanded so it will usually actually state what the root cause of their disagreement is.
  • The "Acrimony" family feast event can now end friendships as well as start rivalries.
  • Expanded the requirements for the player version of the "Acrimony" family feast event, as well, and likewise the event description is more explanatory.
  • Targets for the "Violence" family feast event don't need to have a lower Prowess than the fight starter if their Prowess is already lower than 10.
  • Daughters who become ill after giving birth in seclusion will now no longer be permanently ill.
  • Reduced the base percentage chance of receiving the "Marrying for Love?" and "My Daughter's Training" events.

Just fixing a bad trigger accidentally included in the previous release.

Opdatering: 4. nov. 2024 kl. 16:57

  • Updated for the 1.14.0.1 patch.
  • The ANSF3-specific traits added for compatibility are now omitted from the ruler designer.
  • There is now a maximum distance checked for courtier scheme and proposal targets.
  • Since the AI ignores normal marriage modifiers when using the Arrange Marriage interaction between two of its courtiers (which is automatically accepted, and thus apparently bypasses the normal ai_will_do checking), for now I've applied a restriction on its targeting when marrying a young male courtier to a much older female courtier (as this appears to be the main source of the instances that remains). I'll look into a more elegant solution for the future.
  • Fixed the introduction localization for a player's family member instead showing the event loc from the target's perspective.

Opdatering: 3. nov. 2024 kl. 2:41

This update primarily includes updates to ANSF3:

  • Some additional triggers applied to ensure some traits can't be given to created relatives when they would be invalid.
  • Dynasty connections can no longer be made to unlanded adventurers.

Some added ANSF3 compatibility for the AGOT mod, including:
  • Mods needed for the edit traits GUI are now pre-loaded, so the GUI isn't scanning through AGOT's vast list of traits every time you attempt to edit a category. So the long pause encountered each time is now gone.
  • Traits that only apply to dragons or AGOT historical characters are now no longer in the lists.
  • Added some of AGOT's unique traits to the Flaws and Special category.
  • Some of the AGOT traits which are shared with vanilla but have different names and context now have conditional triggers applied so they make sense for AGOT.
  • Lovers gained at AGOT start can now be the parents of your bastard children.
  • There should no longer be a dump of errors to the error log when you use the event chain.
