@ISee i think that is normal rimworld which when you make a xenotype it shows up in game unless created in game i suggest getting a mod like last of her kind to fix that

When I make a custom xenotype with the editor, that xenotype will spawn very often in the world, I don't want it to spawn, I just want it for my colonists omly like when I make xenogerm.

Have the same error message regarding bodysize genes being active. I disabled it in the settings but now it is showing the same error message but that bodyzise gense are inactive...

Exception filling window for CharacterEditor.CEditor+ModOptions+DialogConfigurate: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key 'HOTKEYEDITOR' was not present in the dictionary.I only added this mod, and after entering the game, my UI disappeared and I can't use the mouse to zoom in, zoom in, and select, the above is the error that appears.

i'm having a problem where whenever i press play none of my colonists or the items from the starting scenario spawn in as well as no animals appear on the map. am i doing something wrong? i've tried starting from the normal menu as well as from the space shuttle thingy from this mod but i keep getting the same issue

Hello! Really great mod!.
I have a problem when enabling this mod with Marine Armor on version 1.6 (with Odyssey DLC). It doesn't have any Vacsuit resistance for some reason.
When I disabled this mod it returned to vanilla values (has vacsuit resistance).

@Tal'Raziid: it's an old conflict with Random's Gene Assistant. Either disable that mod, or in the options of Character Editor disable "Use bodysize genes".

Hello, if anyone cal help -- I'm having an issue where, when I try to load a premade race/xenotype (even just base-game ones) and then try to "replace pawn with new random pawn of same race", it will just change the race back to Baseliner? I've removed all my extra mods and it still does it. I feel like I am missing something here, lol.

((I did also have an issue where 1 of my Pawns would get deleted after landing, but it didn't do it in this last try, so think it may have been a bug that was fixed already or bc of a mod I had installed, so will do more testing as I go.))

@Skula: Make sure you unsubscribed from the old mod, otherwise Steam might have downloaded it again.
If you did unsubscribe, and the old mod is completely gone from your system, then I don't know. Maybe it's a new issue with another mod? Confirm that the packageId in the new error is still the same "void.charactereditor".

@Uskok: I've located the two mods you mentioned: 3211700981 (without v1.5 support) and 187464484 (with v1.6 support). Both are character editors, but the key difference is that one supports v1.6 while the other does not. I attempted to delete the 3211700981 (without v1.5 support) file, but it didn't resolve the issue.

@Skula: Every mod directory has a subdirectory "About" with a file "About.xml" which contains its unique packageId. You somehow got two mods with the same packageId "void.charactereditor", so look through your mods manually and find the duplicate.

Bug report!

Flak pants and gas mask (likely others too) lose their layer with this mod installed, meaning that you can wear infinite flak pants. problem is that enemies do this, and your pawns will automatically wear as many as they can without disabling that gear entirely. Please fix it when you have time to spare!

Even when I enable only this single mod, the following error occurs. Could you please assist in troubleshooting?

Put this mod as high as possible in your modlist, even above vanilla expanded and other frameworks.

You'll have to troubleshoot one by one which other mod is interfering with this one.

While this mod seems to work by itself, it is somehow conflicting with another mod that causes it to prevent certain world tiles from loading, which causes errors to pile up until the game breaks. Not sure why, how, or what mod(s) it is conflicting with.

@Commander Amaro, you are maybe totally right. I removed the mod from my active mod list and the map was able to generate (loop loading stoped). ATM i am using Pawn Editor which seem to work for me with my current mod list. On 1.5. i used Character Editor too with my modlist and it worked too, so i can't tell which mod is now conflicting, also no error log.

I noticed I can't seem to change the skin color of certain modded xeno types. Like RimVali and Anthrosonae. Is there another way to change the skin color or is it something else?

@Commander Amaro can you use this mod to add new Odyssey weapons/items? That seems to be one of the more common issues.

Thanks bro this mod saved my savegame, i accidently made my main char female and only discovered it 6 hours in when "she" kept dismissing her fiance repeatingly.

It even works with EDB prepare carefully and i haven't had any crashes so i think it must be a mod compatibility thing for the other people here.

No issues here, thanks mod author.

Guys this mod works fine its other mods that are conflicting making it look like this on isn't working. I'm going through every single mod I have right now one by one added one then testing and this is Mod is fine.

In version 1.6, added traits don't work. I added the Body Mastery trait, but it only changes the pawn appearance to gray eyes without giving it effect was supposed to. Some traits do the same. Unfortunately, no error logs appear, and I don't know what's wrong.

Hello, I noticed that I couldn’t add the pawns from the editor to the recruit page when starting a new game. Nothing happens when I click the ‘Recruit’ button.

getting a "gradient hair def" xml red error in my log upon booting into Odyssey. Haven't tried actually using it because I want there to be no issues, but I hope this is a small one as your mod is a heavenly addition to the experience :)

I'm unable to load saved pawns, change pawn backstories, change social connections, or change health menu options. Each of the last 3 just opens a blank list. This is with no other mods running.

hey void, so im unsure of what is the limit for this but when using the buy function on the inventory+ screen ive noticed that when it comes to it i cant seem to understand why it won't register the 20000 silver i have and only says ive got 5000 near a pawn when im clearly standing next to a mountain of silver in storage. since im trying to buy anything. it only registers the silver if its out in the open in a stockpile zone and not in storage.
