A little late but the 3.3 "Vulture" update has just been released.
It adds nine unique monuments to the whole Steppe region, all with their own art, effects and localization.
As always the update is save game compatible, but you will need to add the new monuments to your old games through the following console command:
effect = { title:b_x.title_province = { add_special_building = y } }
As a building enthusiast, this mod is awesome.
Do you plan on working on mods after the Asian DLC is released?
Also don't worry about game start or not haha. I know certain rules can only be activated on game start, and I just wanted one of those for MA. I don't have a save game, I was just browsing the map in observation mod lol.
However, if you want to fix this, there is a way.
Just add an option in rules to load MA Baghdad map assets or the MB+ one lol
Your mod is an excellence job nonetheless, and I really like your Rome model. If you can make Rome bigger (equal size to Constantinople) or more dense building, that will be great.
@capercaille and @ladyceniza thanks so much for your support!
Medieval Arts has just reached the symbolic milestone of 100k active subscribers ! 🥳
I am so thankful for all the support you have given this mod through the years, and humbled by how well received it has been.
To celebrate I’ve just released a small update with a brand new, unique 3D model of the Round City of Baghdad !
As always the update is save-game compatible, so go have fun and enjoy your games : )
Will you someday do Constantinople and Bagdad?
What I can say is that I put a lot of effort into minimizing the size of this mod - it has well over 50 unique 3D models right now and it weights just slightly over 60MB - and that I have never read a similar complaint before.
My suggestion would be to just reduce the number of mods, large playsets are fun but rarely sustainable
Glad you like the mod, enjoy your game!
No worries @NEST-7 you can share it all you want, no problems with multiplayer : )
Medieval Arts and UBP cover similar content both with great love and care, and fun fact, they were even published four years ago just a couple days apart from one another ; )
More specifically though with time I think they've both found a different niche to specialize in. UBP has significantly more content, while Medieval Arts' buildings are fewer but more detailed, and all come with unique 3D models, which by now is the main focus of the mod.
So I think they can work together really well! I would suggest putting Medieval Arts lower in the load order so that its own monuments are not replaced by UBP, while leaving the rest of the map to it : )
Enjoy your game!
