Your Ball Exploded has to be the worst Breakout clone I have ever played. Many of the graphics and sounds were recycled from other games by this dev, giving it an asset flipped feel. It looks like the game was rushed with little effort. Many elements are unbalanced - for instance, extra lives just spawn out of nowhere so one can just hold the ball and grind an infinite number of lives, which makes lives pointless. The scores to obtain achievements is ridiculously high – fortunately the save game file can be edited to inflate the score.
The game isn't hard, but the level design makes it extremely slow as there tends to be an area that is hard to get the ball into on every level. There are a considerable number of bugs: the paddle can travel into out-of-bound areas where the ball cannot, which also leads to issues when the ball is respawned and the paddle is in one of these areas. The balls also tend to get stuck or simply disappear. Avoid this cash grab.

Labeling Lawnmower Game 2: Drifter as an actual game is an exaggeration. The first Lawnmower game was bad enough and was a joke to even release it. Coming out with a sequel is just beating a dead horse.

PSA: Do not buy Megalonia as it is pure shovelware. The store page description is very deceitful as none of the features it boasts about are actually in the game. What it consists of is fully disclosed in the game trailer video: 2 asteroids, a black background with stars, player ship, laser bullet, and 1 looping music track. Gameplay is super basic: controlling the ship vertically with the mouse and clicking to fire at asteroids. It’s uninteresting from the very start and won’t be entertaining for even 5 minutes.

Bambino Rally 3 is a mediocre racing game that has a surprisingly good soundtrack. With a handful of small indie rock/metal bands I've never heard of and cannot even find some of the songs on the internet. Fortunately, the soundtrack is available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeJNLS_xeS0 The individual tracks are included in the game folder: Steam\steamapps\common\Bambino Rally 3\scriptsAndAssets\data\music\ in ogg format. Some of the songs contain a few curse words so maybe don't play around small children or wear headphones.

Seriously, the game is totally worth a couple of bucks just for this amazing soundtrack. It is also fun for a few hours - nothing special (bland graphics, physics, AI), but it is a nice little adrenaline rush.

Ember Kaboom is a throwback to the Super Mario Bros games from the late 80s. The biggest fault is probably that the game engine is Construct 2, which cannot mimic the same overall mechanics of the original Mario Bros. Players who spent countless hours on the original Mario Bros will realize fairly quickly. For instance, sliding on ice block levels shoots the player one direction rather than decreasing the friction speed. There is also lack of any sort of sprint button or power-ups that balanced out the game play in the original Mario Bros.

However, when looking past that comparison and seeing it as something different, it’s actually fairly fun to play and is its own unique game. The characters and worlds look fresh, the level design is decent, fitting music, and it balances out some of the frustrating mechanics with easy 1ups and checkpoints. It’s great to see someone create something like this as an inspiration rather than try to clone/copy it.

Battle Runner is an extremely basic game. Every piece of content is shown within the 45 second gameplay trailer. The background consists of a single sky image and a very small repeating mountain backdrop, 3 minutes of music on continuous looping, 1 enemy (spikes), 1 item (crystals), and that's pretty much it. You just jump from platform to platform and attempt to improve the last run score. There's just nothing to keep it interesting for more than a few minutes.

Another fake dev with a UE4 asset flip. He just took https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/character-interaction and re-skinned the main character to https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/zombie1-model-animation. It plays like an asset flip too – just nothing flows right or goes together. It really looks like zero effort was even put into this. I never would have imagined the Unreal Engine was capable of such crap. It’s like taking a $100 bill and using it as a piece of toilet paper.

Guide the Ball is a somewhat strange atmospheric physics puzzler. The objective is to get the ball/wheel to activate all of the levers within the level by placing a limited number of blocks to create paths for it to travel. What makes this a little different from similar games is that instead of creating a single path to get all levers, each lever is split up as a separate move. So once a lever is reached it is removed, all blocks currently played are locked in, and planning phase starts again for the next lever. This can lead to situations where the path to one lever could block the path to the next so the player must plan accordingly.

For the most part the game is casual and the puzzles aren’t too difficult. There are some parkour elements at times, which may be frustrating for some. The biggest issue for me is the lack of explanation on what to do in the tutorial. For instance, there are coins that can be collected in each level, but I have no idea what they do. The controls are also bad as it has partial mouse support – meaning you cannot drag and drop the blocks using the mouse, but instead must click corresponding move/rotate buttons. At times, these buttons block the view of the level and I had to deselect the block just to be able to see where I was placing it.

For the price this game has a lot of content with many levels so if you enjoy these sorts of games it might be worth it. I like playing a few levels at a time during short breaks and the artwork, which looks like ancient Greek paintings, keeps it somewhat entertaining.

Another fake dev with a Unity asset flip, only changing the name of the game.
