Updating for 1.11.1. Nothing else of note that affects the mod.

Opdatering: 21. nov. 2023 kl. 2:20

  • Courtier marriage proposals that don't come from seductions or courtship are now checked half as often. The minimum age for a target is now 17 rather than 16, so no proposals two minutes after someone reaches adulthood.
  • The default Game Rule for maidens has now been set to "Restricted Additional Maidens", meaning no existing dynasties are used to generate maidens unless you specifically set the rule to allow it. Too many people never read up or checked the rules and then came here to complain about it, so there you go.
  • Dynasty members who can't inherit will no longer demand restoration of their inheritance.
  • Complications after childbirth no longer adds the Impotent trait. Instead, it adds an "Unlikely to Have More Children" modifier which reduces fertility in a similar manner (but more effectively, since Impotent only reduces Fertility by 50% and which could easily be overridden by other bonuses).
  • Fixed the vanilla RelationToMe loc field being broken when it comes to identifying courtiers with court positions, just referring to them as a courtier instead.

Also added in the latest changes to ANSF 3:
  • Added a QoL feature where, if there are more than three possible dynasties you can link to, rather than needing to go back to the previous menu and regenerate the list there's now a menu option to discard your current options and see three more. Also, if you're making a character who has no possible options for linking dynasties, the menu option will show as unavailable with a tooltip telling you why.
  • Linking dynasties to a ruler no longer requires that they have an adult heir - if they don't, it simply means you'll be a bastard. The only time an heir will be required is with faiths that don't have bastards.
  • You can no longer link to the dynasties of non-feudal/tribal rulers.
  • Some better error checking implemented for instances where you link to the dynasty of a ruler whose father or mother is dead. This could cause some weirdness when it establishing the age ranges of siblings or the alternate missing parent. Same thing for linking to a father who wasn't a full 20 years older than you, which could cause weirdness on your mother's age range.
  • Some better error checking on when bastard/legitimized bastard traits should be applied, now taking into account the gender succession laws of the ruler you're linking to.
  • The non-ruling parent of a bastard player now properly is assigned the fornicator trait and comes to their court.
  • Created bastard half-siblings can no longer get the legitimized bastard trait.

Opdatering: 18. nov. 2023 kl. 15:05

  • Fixed the "turn off marriage requests from unimportant courtiers" so it actually auto-approves the unimportant courtiers and not solely the important ones.
  • You now get a pop-up notification when such marriages are auto-approved.

Opdatering: 18. nov. 2023 kl. 5:58

  • Added some extra checks so courtier marriages and the AI marriage decision better obey the vanilla matrilineal marriage game rule, if it's been set to something more restrictive.
  • Courtiers in your realm will now occasionally ask for permission to marry someone in your court even if they aren't a lover or soulmate. You have the option of opting out of getting asked if the courtiers aren't anyone of significance to you -- meaning anyone who's a knight, councillor, family member, etc. will still ask as normal. If you do opt out, such permissions will automatically be granted, even if it means someone leaves your court.
  • Added some extra variations on the event where a seduction scheme fails and you're informed, so you won't always be seeing the same "A Snake at Court" event where someone is climbing up to their target's window (even if said person climbing would be ridiculous).

Updated for the new hotpatch.

Opdatering: 9. nov. 2023 kl. 15:06

Updated to 1.11.0.

Opdatering: 9. nov. 2023 kl. 3:57

Went through the vanilla files to find the most likely sources of lovers being created who either shouldn't be taking a lover or who are wildly inappropriate as a pair. The places amended:

  • The "Seduce" intent used in some activities (in terms of what target they'll pick, or if they'll even take it).
  • The "inspired artisan and their liege might become lovers" event.
  • The "your friend's spouse comes onto you" event.
  • The "you find two hunt attendees in a lover's embrace" event.
  • The "you find two feast attendees in a lover's embrace" event.

Opdatering: 7. nov. 2023 kl. 4:37

  • Made controlling your heir's children/grandchildren marriages specific to the player only.
  • Added some cases where (unless prevented by game rules) the AI will initiate matrilineal marriages: if the culture has equal inheritance (for rulers and heirs only), if the ruler is female and naturally bold, and if the ruler is bold and has a female heir. Both of the last two cases are prevented by a ruler being humble or zealous, no matter how bold they are.

Opdatering: 7. nov. 2023 kl. 1:51

  • Fixed the transfer of married courtiers (upon giving permission for them to marry) not showing up in the tooltip.
  • Some refinement of the event where the courtier asks for permission to marry.
  • Fixed the elope event outcome in the instance where the elope scheme initiator was a pool character, in which case they would end up at the target liege's court even though both they and the target are now wanted criminals. Now they will both properly flee into the pool.
  • You may now find spouses for the children and grandchildren of your primary heir, even if your primary heir is landed (so long as you're their liege or above).

Opdatering: 5. nov. 2023 kl. 23:06

  • The Fecund trait is no longer lost when mothers have childbirth issues. They're simply given a permanent modifiers which negate its effects, so they can still pass it on to future children.
  • Re-wrote the request for marriage permission events so the text isn't quite so curt.
  • Fixed the request for marriage event so the courtiers don't confuse whose liege belongs to whom, in the situation where the initial actor for the request isn't the active proposer to the liege.
