  • Giving permission for courtiers to wed now gives you a favor hook on them.
  • When courtiers wed, they now go to the appropriate courts - based on who has dominance in the marriage and whether both or any of them have lieges.

Included the latest update from ANSF3:
  • ANSF3 now has the ability to create a spouse for you, if you are not married when you take the decision. The new spouse can have parents made for them (who can be connected to existing dynasties or simply generated) or can be created without in-game parents (and connected to an existing dynasty, themselves, as an option).
  • If you connect yourself to an existing dynasty, you will now be a bastard if one of your parents is dead and the other missing (and therefore must be created) since they cannot be set as married to a dead person.
  • If you connect yourself to an existing dynasty, existing siblings who are themselves bastards or legitimized bastards won't be connected to any parent you create, if you need to create one. A dead subling can now be connected to that parent, however, if that parent is old enough.
  • If you connect yourself to the landless former holders of your title, they and their family will be added as your courtiers.

  • Removed the scheme debug notifications I left in. Oops!
  • Depression/Reduced fertility resulting from birth now added into outcomes where the mother has a miscarriage or the pregnancy ends prematurely, as well.
  • Added some variations to the "remembrance" family dinner event text based on the age of the deceased relative, so it's more appropriate (no need for the family to have many memories of a small child, for instance). Added an extra option so the event can also fire after your primary spouse has a baby die in childbirth.

  • Added a sanity check for the bounce event which updates a secluded relative, just in case they lost their pregnancy somehow prior to it. This includes a new event where you're told they lost the baby, and can then decide to either bring them back or leave them where they are.
  • It should no longer be possible to get family feasts too close together (possible if an on action event fires late the previous year, or is delayed, and then early the next).
  • Added some more sanity checking on the courtier schemes.
  • Players should now get the proper criminal opinion modifier against eloped characters, if they leave your court.
  • A bunch of error and localization fixes.

Just forgot to take out the testing decisions. Oops!

  • Proposing elopement has been added to the courtship scheme outcome events, if marriage isn't possible (such as if the target is already married).
  • Proposing marriage via courtship now properly scopes to a target courtier's liege.
  • Proposing marriage/elopement via courtship now properly gives renown, like in other outcome options.
  • Courtiers in the player's realm will now sometimes propose marriage to their lovers and soulmates, and they'll ask their liege for permission to marry (as in the elope outcome events).
  • Condensed all the courtier scheming events down to a single on action, to save performance.

Changes for ASNF included:
  • The last version of your mother/father before switching to create one linked to an existing dynasty is now properly made to disappear and will no longer become a wandering character.
  • The previous holder of your primary title is now added to the list of possible characters who can be scoped to for linking to an existing dynasty.

Opdatering: 24. okt. 2023 kl. 6:44

  • Tweaked some of the loc used in the family feast events, as well as the frequencies. The "All is Well" event should come up a bit less often, now, and the rarer events more.
  • A disinherited dynasty member who wasn't an heir to any titles, but whose parents are, will claim those titles instead.
  • Added a "family feast" event for when your primary spouse is pregnant.

Restored ability for mayors to get married (was a holdover from Less Old Wives, but I don't think there's any reason to keep it).

Opdatering: 22. okt. 2023 kl. 17:34

Added a large system for "family feasts" - an event that'll fire every other year, on average, assuming you're not engaged in an activity or out leading an army, which represent smaller feasts with your family. There are a selection of about 20 events which can occur, ranging from simple pleasures or even rivals dueling, accidents occurring, and friendships being created. The idea is to give you more interaction with the family that resides in your court at home.

Some other changes this patch:

  • Fixed the setting which restricts the player's dynasty from being included in spawned maiden dynasties so that it actually functions as intended and even AI rulers in your dynasty don't do that.
  • Some more tweaking on the age ranges for targets of courtier romances and seductions, as well as the qualifications for who's interested. This should mean more reasonable pairings, as well as fewer non-sinful nuns being bastard factories.
  • Disinherited dynasty members who are outraged at a refusal to restore their inheritance will now get their rivalry effect on anyone who holds or is heir to the titles they claim, rather than solely the ruler who disinherited them and their primary heir.

Opdatering: 8. okt. 2023 kl. 19:44

  • Updating ASNF3 code to current version.
  • Added chance for mothers to have complications right after childbirth, resulting in temporary melancholia or in reduced fertility - either short-term, long-term, or permanently. They can get this after their second child or if they're over the age of 25. The player's spouse has an inherently less chance of this. This system is meant to reduce the long-term population growth, since the mod increases the number of children in general.

  • Changed the pruneable trigger so that maidens who are connected to pool characters can still be pruned (as can their parents). This should prevent there from being too many pointless pool characters who now can't vanish just because they have more than one dynasty member.
  • When creating parents via the ASNF mod, you can no longer make them "distant relatives" to another dynasty yet unconnected to the rest of their tree. You do now, however, have a choice between up to three different dynasties (if appropriate ones can be found), and they can also be of different cultures (of the same heritage) or different faiths (only if they're considered astray, at best). You can also let a parent take physically after the other dynasty, but only one (at least one of your parents needs to look like you).
